Gordon Travers

Chief Executive Officer, Artis Energy Intelligence and Artis Energy Solutions

Gordon is Chief Executive Officer of Artis Energy Intelligence and Artis Energy Solutions. He has more than 35 years of experience as a finance, restructuring and bankruptcy business advisor, executive, and attorney. He has held this position since late 2011, when he joined Artis Energy’s predecessor, NXEGEN, LLC. Much of Gordon’s career has been characterized by involvement in industries undergoing major systemic and complex regulatory change, with particular emphasis on energy markets and financial institution clients. Prior to joining Artis Energy, his career highlights include the establishment of a specialized utility and power sector restructuring practice at

Alvarez & Marsal, a global turnaround and consulting firm, in New York; serving as a partner at the law firm of Morrison & Foerster in New York, spearheading the office’s energy and banking practices; and serving as a partner at the law firm of King & Spalding in New York, where he worked closely with financial institutions in the financing of utilities and independent power producers. Gordon is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Tulane University School of Law, where he was a member of the Tulane Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.

John Muro

President, Artis Energy Solutions

John is President of Artis Energy Solutions and manages the day-to-day operations of AES. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the energy industry, serving as a senior officer for both regulated and unregulated entities, and he was at the forefront of the energy industry’s restructuring in the State of Connecticut. Prior to joining AES and its predecessors in 2014, John served as Executive Vice President, President & COO of Energy New England, an energy cooperative servicing more than 35 utilities in the provision of wholesale power supply and retail energy services. John also served as President & Senior Officer of Select Energy, Northeast Utilities’ (NU) 

unregulated retail subsidiary, as well as Vice President of Retail Marketing for NU. His responsibilities included managing a budget in excess of $50M and a variety of disciplines, including rates, cost-of-service, conservation and load management, key account and economic development functions. John is a graduate of Trinity College and has received advanced degrees from Wesleyan University and the University of Connecticut.

Lili Delalat

Chief Information Officer, Artis Energy Intelligence

Lili brings more than 15 years of Wall Street trading, real-time processing and analytics technology experience to her role as Chief Information Officer of Artis Energy Intelligence. Lili’s focus is in driving technology strategy to create efficient business processes across the AEI organization and its RTIS® energy analytics and management platform. Throughout her career, she has a track record of innovation and successful large-scale deployments allowing for productivity gains and competitive advantage. In her previous roles, she has overseen global systems and infrastructure network supporting an integrated, cross-discipline organization providing real-time 

data and analytics. Prior joining AEI, Lili served as a technology executive and a Managing Director with Thomson Reuters, Wachovia, Goldman Sachs, and Lehman Brothers. Lili has Masters in Computer Science and Bachelor of Engineering degrees from the University of Nebraska.

Daniel Robertson

Chief Operating Officer, Artis Energy Solutions

Daniel is the Chief Operating Officer of Artis Energy Solutions. He has over 20 years of experience in multiple local and national roles serving government, commercial, and industrial customers. Prior to joining AES in January 2016, Dan spent 19 years in various leadership positions with General Electric Company’s Industrial and Energy businesses, including National Sales Director of GE’s Clarient Diagnostic Services and National Accounts Accounts Manager for GE Healthcare. He is LEED AP accredited, and played a co-lead role in developing GE’s “ecomagination” healthcare program. His teams delivered close to $500 million in revenues at GE by delivering solutions 

focused on client’s strategic goals and financial objectives. Dan has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, along with an MBA from the University of Dallas.

Chris Pieper

Vice President of Marketing, Artis Energy Intelligence

Chris is Vice President of Marketing of Artis Energy Intelligence. He has an extensive leadership background in the Cleantech and IoT space and prior to joining Artis Energy in January 2016, Chris served in a number of strategic leadership roles, including Senior Director of Marketing, Strategy and Sales Operations at Evolve Controls, and served on the board of the Z-Wave Alliance, Con Edison Green Team and Evolve Controls. Prior to joining Evolve, Chris was Senior Investment Analyst at GE Capital, where he evaluated existing companies within GE’s diverse investment portfolio, as well as new investment opportunities across a broad array of industries. Chris is a 

graduate of Bucknell University, and has a degree in Business Management with concentrations in Economics and Philosophy. At Bucknell, he was a four-year member of their Division 1 Varsity Baseball Team.

John M. Tavares

Vice President of Sales, Artis Energy Intelligence

Before joining AEI in 2016, John was with Entic, a SaaS provider of energy analytics. Prior to Entic, John was Vice President, Business Development at INNCOM by Honeywell, a business within Honeywell International’s Home and Building  Technologies. His experience in sales, sales management, marketing, product management, business development, and executive leadership gives him the foundation to establish AEI’s RTIS® energy analytics and management platform as the preferred choice of commercial and institutional clients seeking to achieve their energy efficiency objectives. John played a leadership role in the sale of INNCOM International to 

Honeywell in 2012, and his career includes building several results-driven sales and marketing teams selling across a range of products, including energy management, HVAC, building automation systems, electronic security systems, integrated room automation and energy intelligence SaaS. He has been focused on B2B commerce and teaching and supporting channel partners that address the needs of asset owners in a variety of vertical markets. John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Languages and Literature from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and is also a graduate of the GE Crotonville Management Course.
